Given the SDGF&P’s public polling found that 56% of South Dakota and Black Hills citizens wanted to see no change or an increase in the cougar population (and national public comments ran 8:1 against the management plan), we wonder if some social networking didn’t skew this poll.

Not sure how many of you read the Journal’s regular online polls.

They’re not scientifically constructed surveys, so we tend not to pay much attention to them for newspaper coverage. Still, they can be interesting.
